Shopping for holiday gifts can be stressful, but the Gift Shop at the Academy of Natural Sciences has something for everyone on your list! You can enjoy a day at the museum AND check off some of your holiday to-do list, all in one trip!
For the Future Paleontologist…
Looking for something to keep the kids busy while they learn and have fun? Look no further! With Dig It Up eggs, the kids will be occupied while uncovering all sorts of bugs to learn about! And if bugs aren’t your style, this Volcano Making Kit will amaze all your friends and family with a bubbly fizzy lava explosion. Any dinosaur enthusiast would love to play with these dinosaur figurines. Even better? They can light up their room with a dinosaur lamp!
For the Foodie…
You might not think of kitchenware as a gift, but these fun dishes are not to be missed! Nothing says taco Tuesday like this triceratops taco holder. These mood cups may not look like much, but they actually change color as you put liquid inside! Dinner Winner turns dinner time into a fun game, encouraging kids to eat their veggies. And after dinner, some brave soul might want to try these edible bugs, which come in all sorts of flavors like salt n’ vinegar and Mexican spice!
For the Photographer…
Even photographers need their coffee. And with this camera lens cup, they can take it to go while they photograph the world!
For the Adventurer…
Know someone who never seems to stay in one place? Give them some ideas for their next adventure with The Bucket List! They can take one of these reusable water bottles to stay hydrated on the trip, and show off these shark teeth to all their newfound travel buddies!
For the Fashionista…
Watch them strut their stuff with these mineral accessories, including geode or agate earrings and mineral necklaces!
The Academy Shop is open during regular museum hours: 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends and holidays. Start your holiday shopping off right by stopping in any day. You do not have to purchase a museum ticket to shop–but of course we hope you’ll stick around and check out our exhibits anyway!
