Obviously a lot of time, effort, passion, energy and grant money goes into it. And each discovery involves a unique effort, maybe even blood, sweat and tears.
In this digital picture book story the Academy contributed to Google Arts & Culture, Ichthyology Curator Mark Sabaj takes us on an expedition to a river in Brazil where species are threatened by construction of the world’s third largest dam.
