Registration is now open for Academy Explorers Spring Camp, April 10-14, 2017.
Scheduled conveniently during the spring break of the Philadelphia School District, camp entertains your budding scientist from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. while you work. Camp offers convenient pick-up and drop-off for parents working or living in Center City. Optional before- and after-care is available, allowing your child to hang out with our teacher-naturalists from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. each day. You can reserve just one day or multiple days, and the more days you reserve, the bigger the savings.
Each day of spring camp includes a live presentation by one of the Academy’s teacher-naturalists, an exploration of our exhibits (including Outside In, Butterflies!, and The Big Dig) and “campers-only” games, crafts, and activities. Kids can spend the day getting to know dinosaurs, bugs, and live animals, learn more about the environment with “green” activities, and perform experiments just like a real scientist.
Academy members save even more. Become a member today and you’ll be eligible for free year-round admission to the museum all year, plus discounts to special exhibits and programs like spring and summer camp!
