The Academy of Natural Sciences is reexamining our The Academy of Natural Sciences is reexamining our historical cyanotype collections through reparative archival practices. Brooke Dolan Archivist Jessica Lydon is leading current efforts to revise outdated, biased descriptions of collections, including Indigenous knowledge omitted from Charles L. Lochman’s plant cyanotypes. This work aims to make the archives more accessible and reflective of diverse perspectives.
